‘the square who couldn’t
rock ‘n’ roll’

‘the square’ was written by brian 25 years ago and toured local schools. it started life as an operetta, lasting thirty minutes. having had productions around the country, including a great version performed by the royal academy of music and drama, the square was extended to a longer show for the wirral youth theatre and has remained one of brian’s favourite pieces of writing ever since.
